Found this in my euro - what's it for?

As the title says, have a look at the linked pics - it's obviously some kind of connector. It's on the drivers side, right underneath the coin holder.

Probably for some Honda optional extra of some sort.

That's exactly what it is.
By law , all obd2 vehicles must have this
Plug exposed / easy to reach.
