AMSOIL tranny oil

Hi guys,

I've heard a lot of good things about AMSOIL synthetic synchromesh transmission fluid. I was wondering if anyone has used it before?

i have used it, so far my diff is making a rattling noise and my gearbox is crunching from 1-2nd and every other gear is notchy. OEM is 10x better.. i don't know why but my s2 hates it.. Going to try Royal Purple next :) i personally don't recommend it, but maybe its my car? durno.

I haven't tried it... I use oem fluid as it gets quite a good write up in most instances on the s2ki web site from people in the know

Make sure that the viscosity is 75w80. Otherwise you will have the issues that Engin09 described.

go with royal purple, this stuff is going off. So good :)
