ED owner in brisbane

Morning ladies n gents. picked up a fairly together ED6 2 door for 50 bucks and a pack of smokes.Decided to jump on here and see what the fuss is about.

Think im pretty much converted from holdens now. Plan to make a few cruises/meets in the area once i get the ED to a respectable level.

Looking forward to meeting some people.

lol. i plan to drop it real low. it has some rims on it but im pretty sure i couldn't sell them if i through my liver into the deal aswell.... Cant seem to find alot of parts on here. which is a petty :(

Plans are camry or mazda 626 front lip. change the roof lining to something entertaining, maybe a mid spoiler. and drop it lower then a lawn mower. and possibly a engine conversion in the far future. and rims ofcourse.

i had an ED6 as well hence the user name ;) but now im driving around in a ek hatch back.

all the best with the ed6, i never got around to do much with mine but i always love a nice looking ed.

Dont have alot of pics. got it roady'd and regestered today. so spent the day driving/enjoying the car.

Few problems i ran into are. bit of smoke from the exhaust, think its from been sitting for a few months.
a grinding sound after i jump on the brakes hard. lasted a few mins on the highway. sounds alot like metal on metal. will have to have a look into that. it goes away after a bit but its still not a good noise.

So, since i got it on the road i have noticed a few small gremlins, and due to money i haven't been able to nab the little bastards. First drive on the highway made horrible braking metal on metal noise, since then nothing. had a look and the pads still have meat on them, pulled the rim and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. the exhaust sounds like it has a hole in it. Suspension is rather bouncy. Finally got around to getting oil/filter/sparkplugs, the leads look fine, need to also get a air filter and a fuel filter. and then see how it runs. sputters and has a little trouble starting sometimes. and for a day it didn't want to start by the key at all. just heard clicking of a relay. so had to push start it for that day.

Looking forward to seeing a dumped ED around Brissy. How did you pick it up for so cheap? Wouldn't mind having an ED for a daily.

I was thinking rattyer then that :P but dammmmn that thing is nice.

im thinking matt green. lips and skirts. lowered and rims.

Id like to get my hands on a set of FR simmons if i could get my hands on them :D
