tyres for fd2 ep3 rims

Hey guys,

Need a hand here. I've just got some FD2 ep3 rims. 17x7 45+. I'm looking to put on some new tyres. I'm tossing up between 215x45x17 or 225x45x17 anyone has experience between the two tyres?? which one would you recommend?

Go with 215. 225 is too wide!

you can get away with 225 but they are normally on a 7.5 rim. Wider tyres looks better i reckon. Which ever is fine, not going to make a huge difference except rotating mass :)

currently using 225/45/17 RE001..on EP3 RIMS..ride is more comfortable than the stock 215
