Hey guys ive built a all motor d16y1

this is the link that of the motor i built.

i got the car running ok tho i think i mite have a vacuum leak i cannot find and it is causing my idle to fluctuate a few hundred rpm and sometimes splatter when u take off at the lights but i think the splattering maybe electrical.

does anyone here have an idea or a common thing that mite cause this.

tomorrow ill be going over the car and would love some ideas to help me out a but.

Cheers Guys Alessio

Fluctuating(hunting) idle problems are generally caused by IACV, FITV, Vacuum leaks or improperly adjusted idle screw, search and there is plenty of info on this site.
With the "splattering on take off" id be looking at the TPS, ignition(spark plugs and leads, dizzy etc) or fuel system(fuel pressure, fuel filter etc).

just fixed a similar problem on my d15, it used to start up and idle hunt and continue to hunt between 400 and 2000 rpm..but the engine check light never came on, luckily this week it did and it turned out to be the TPS not sitting properly. Adjusted it and reset the ecu and luckily got my engine back to normal.
