New Civic, are we getting the SI Sedan?

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what SI Sedan if any we are going to be getting over here at the end of this year\start of 2012?

If you do know, is it the one pictured here?

I am debating whether or not to get the current shape or hold out for the new one. I am not keen on the one picture above.

this is a bit of old news, man. we wont be getting the si 9th gen sedan. the only "si" civic we will continue to have is the fk2... which is the 1.8L 4 door euro hatchback.
we will basically just be getting the base model 1.8, with probably a 2.0L watered down sport version. just like the current 8th gen civics, the coupe and si performance models are exclusively for the US.

as for the styling... although it may look awkward at first, im sure that it will probably grow on everyone... especially when mugen or some other tuner do their own version. when the 8th gen civic first appeared in 05/06, i did not like the shape at all. it looked like a fat whale lol.. but now ive grown to love it.
