Hey guys, just a noob question here regaurding scrubbing.
I have a set of em1 stockies with 195/55/15. I test fitted them on my car with the height I daily. Front lip sits 9cm. Tire tuck 195/50/15 on 15x7 rims..

If I get smaller tyres would I still scrub. I just like my cars lowered.
What size should I be looking at. With the tyres on the em1 I turned a corner and it scrubbed on the inside and it ripped a piece of tyre on the chassis skirt where the spotwelds are. Uptop under the strut towers.

what springs do you have? is it king springs super low? you need 195/45/15 and it will not scrub .Do not take my word, just wait for others for better answer

So you scrubbed on the front tyre on the inner wall? Wheel/tyre size shouldn't be the issue man.

Personally I would consider raising it half an inch man, I know low looks good but 9cm isn't very practical (I'm sure you've heard this before...).

Otherwise can you stiffen the suspension or you don't want to?

on buddyclub n+.

dont really want to raise the car. i dont understand why i can drive with 15x7 195/50/15 and not have an issues. think i just have to get tyres size right????

think 185/45/15?? cause on my current rims the tyres abit stretched, while on my em1 stockies it more of a balloon

EM1 stockies are 15x6 I believe?

I'm running EM1's with 195/50/15, pretty low atm, scraping my mudflaps on a few speed bumps etc. No scrubbing on the inside though.
