Hey guys,

Does anyone here notice that their S2k's boot (where you lift up the board and where the toolkit are), that its filled with water?

I covered the car with a cover and it hasnt been raining for the past week, but when I took it for a drive yesterday, i was pretty shocked to find it filled with 1 cm of water.

My guess is the cold weather condensed on the boards and sides, and it dripped to form a watre well..

Has anyone else had this issue?

Find the source first. Check the tail light gaskets and beaver panel first.

Car might have been rear ended before.

it can also leak from the rain channels on the sides of the car. make sure the drain holes are unblocked else water overflows into the boot. Basically grab and air compressor n blast the dirt out

my boot was leaking in 3 different spots when i bought the car.

sorted them all, but in REALLY heavy rain it will still weep into the boot.
drives me insane so I popped small holes in each bung in the boot floor to let the water out.

i check it now and again and its generally dry as a bone.

pain in the ass though.

mine was also coming from the rain rail around the soft top.

its like a plastic gutter which is tensioned from inside the cabin.
you can see it if you remove the inside plastics which go under the soft top. BITCH TO GET TO.

i tightened them and it helped heaps.
