Firstly, this is regarding my fitment of 17x8.5 +32 (215/45/17) at the front for my CL9.

Got my rear guards rolled today and they look sweet no rubbing at 1 finger gap (x9.5 +38), but the front is the problem. The bumps on the road going at about 50 to 60 cause the rubbing of the tyre on the plastic is definitely on my nerves and causing me to not drive the car atm. Any ideas? At this point I'm thinking either raising the whole car up (dunno how much that'll cost) or providing some sort of lining under the guard so it doesn't hit the plastic (rather some soft flexible material of some sort). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

why does rubbing on the inner guard liner bother you?

its just plastic...

you can drill two small holes say 2cm apart and tread a cable tie through and then attach it to somthing, non moving prefrable,

then tighten, that shoud give you the clearance you need?

Worked on my old SS after fitting a caster kit.
