Hello, i have just bought a new pair of wheels, and it seems like the chrome dish has some sort of clear coat on it ?? i polished two wheels, they came out great but the other two wheel's seem to have this unusual verrryyyy thin coating over them, it seems like there is a fog on the dish that does not want to go...

I have taken a photo of one of the wheels to show you what i mean, its like there some of this coating has rubbed off :S there are some other patches here and there..

If someone could direct me of how to remove the coating, that would be great so i can get back on track with the restoration of these wheels :)
