I am in the process of stripping my boot out, im keeping my rear seats, and i have already cut the side pannels at the back of the seats but im stuck with sound deadiner all through the boot, which was to be expected.

I have been told that putting dry ice on the sound deadiner and then chipping it away is the best way of getting the sound deadiner off.

I am just wondering how many people have done this, and if it is effective, also would appreciate any tips that would help me in cleaning it all off.

Thanks in advance

Aidan.

works quite well just takes time, use degreaser and a rag to clean up once you have all the chunks off.

abit of heat definitely helps as well.

i used a heatgun along with a scraper/metal spatula. Apply enough heat and get the scraper on a corner and should easily peel off. Degreaser and rag to clean off the residue like TbM said.
