Honda 3 pin ecu data

i have a 96 EK1 running d16y4 on the stock ecu, is it possible to use the ebay "honda 3 pin to odb2 connector" then connect the odb2 plug to an ODB2 adaptor which converts the data to an usb out so i can read ecu data off a laptop?
