I turned off VSA everything... grip was quite amazing on the Pilot Super Sport except heats up really fast....

I was comfortable and yes your right I could've driven off the track instead of taking the turn but that's why it's called an "accident". It happened due to it being an accident / luck where my rear wheel caught on the apex / gravel thus loss of traction. No sh#t if I was feeling uncomfortable I would've just driven off the track ect ect. It happened and I just took it as a learning experience and all.

Sorry but I don't see why I can't compare driving on GT5 to real life... You do realise GT5 is quite realistic in terms of driving... Out of all console “driving simulator games" I would say R Factor and 1 2 others and GT5 to be quite good except nothing beats R Factor. GT5 teaches you how to handle loss of traction, breaking points, driving line and throttle control quite well IMHO. Like I said a lot of those people who were out on the track that day who participate in cup racing and ect. agreed that GT5 does help. Of course it's nothing like real driving in regards to G force and the stability of the car but I think all those things make you a better driver.

You can disagree with me but from my personal experience and after just going out on the track I can indeed say it does help.

Yeah I don't feel too bad... I thought it was a good learning experience (the whole track day + the accident) and really took it in as just "driving experience".
I do take in everyone's advice and what not but ... just wanted to clear some facts first especially that GT5 comment ==.

Umm I would say like khanguskhan have said (and how other people have told me) you fork out for your own damage... I mean I guess if it's really really bad depending on who it is you can help pay for a bit or come to an agreement but I think most people would just acknowledge the damage / costs and then pay for their own and pretty much what is happening in my situation. I'm paying for my own damage.

Yeah when I first asked all my mates (track regulars) that is EXACTLY what they said pretty much... word for word. You pay for your own damage and you pretty much signed that down on a piece of paper before you even go on the track.

I spoke to the owner of the Lancer and the damage he received was a bent camber arm and damage to the quarter panel... and that's pretty much it (think some slight body kit damage too.)

Yeah :( All my mates told me that after watching the video but yeah guess I learned the hard way even though it wasn't the break dabbing that caused the accident lol (luckily cause I think it could've been worse).
But yeah I appreciate all the advice your giving me :) hopefully we'll meet at the track one day lol.

Well remember this car was always going to be just bolt ons due to it being automatic :P
All I'm missing in this car technically is coilovers... + some accessories (visors, lights / leds what not, visual aesthetic mods)

So once I get the full body kit on, full respray (really having a hard think atm), coilovers it's going to be done with minor updates with minor mods (the ones listed above).

I've already started planning on my next build... but next build is going to be more full on engine and everything not just bolt ons.

Note it's not a Euro but I'll see as the time comes closer.

Sadly I have to make the worst update and most regrettable one as well.
I will be having to part out my 2004 Accord Euro.
I still love the Euro and the Euro will still be in my garage but due to a short of funds for my second build project I have to let go of some items to try help the funds.
That said every single thing on my car will be leaving apart from the J's Racing Intake and J's Racing Titanium Exhaust unless I get a good offer due to me really really
not wanting to let go of them due to the massive loss I'll have and me still wanting to continue building my Euro after this financial crisis is over lol. + The Recaros same scenario... being able to be fit on my new build haha.
I still have my car front to be fixed (as some of you may seen in public "longers" "marquee" + ect) hahaha even though I've tried hiding it :P .

Bit optimistic mate.... you sure you know how dyno readings work? Stock Auto cl9 makes 90 odd kw ATW , theres a 35% driveline loss between the engine and the wheels.

you are not going to DOUBLE to engine output to make 180kw ATW with the amount of mods you've got.

as a guide, Ergot from the forums here got those on his MANUAL cl9:

- K&N Typhoon CAI (which makes more than your injen)
- J's Racing wrapped version headers
- J's Racing test pipe
- J's Racing Titanium Exhaust FX60RS
- UR S/S Pulley Set
- Tuned with Greddy emanage ultimate


^^^ with all those mods + tune he only got 142kw atw as a MANUAL... with NO CAT
go figure.

You will be lucky to hit 120kw ATW with you basic mods. Keep us posted
