Hello ladies & gents,
Those of you running a B16A or B18C2 who have done an ITR (NE3=4.7 FD) Gearbox swap, has it improved your 1/4 mile time?

Thanks but I'm not after assumptions. I want actual owners speaking from experience.
I know it will "feel faster", but does it actually go faster.

Do the math mate - shorter final drive will give the car quicker acceleration but slightly reduced top speed. So this means yes - a better 1/4 time.
Wait don't take my word for it because I've never gone from a 4.4 gb to a 4.7 ! :-)

youre a goose.
Just like Ben said, its not assumptions, its simple maths and physics, its the way it ****ing works!!
If I throw this rock in the air....will it come back down?
I don't need assumptions, I want experience from people who've actually done it!

For the price, I would rather invest that on a close ratio gearset. You will gain much more than a itr gearbox
