Surely you can just fit H22 parts?
My understanding is that it is basically a factory modified H23 bottom end with a H22 head.

I think this is correct.. But just to confirm!

Does the exhaust port pattern look like,
O-O-O-O or O--OO--O?
F22A/H23 is the prior, and F22B/H22A is the latter.
So this makes picking your Header easy!

H22A, H23, F22A all interchange between Intake Manifolds, all run similar sizes of Throttlebody (All interchangeable also) so any CAI/Shortram designed for one of these three engines will work on the others.. You might just find a slight piping difference because of airbox locations, and the fact you've got it in a Civic.

Only one car ever had the H23A so no wonder it is difficult to find the parts. I just so happen to have the said car with a H23A.
I can possibly spare the cams, t/body and intake manifold if you're willing to wait a few months.

Why not use H22A parts instead?

Exhaust cam is the same as from a H22A4. Intake cam is I think unique. Model number suggests that it is similar to the one fitted to the H22A from the Euro-R and F20B SiR.
H23A: 14111-PCB-900
H22A/F20B: 14111-PCB-000

Head exhaust gasket is the same as a H22A4. Header is the same as on a Euro-R H22.

I would think real easy to find parts, just none of them will be listed as compatible.

Most H22A and F22A parts will fit the H23A.. Since it's a hybrid of sorts of the two.. And there's enough parts for both those motors to make any kinds of power you could dream of!
