No accident but write off?

Well you'd probably want some history and definitely want to be pulling the interior out and check for signs of repair, the fact that it's priced abit too realistically with not too much to account for makes it sus.
What I see when I look at the sale:
-Bad recaro bolster
-Hail damage apparently (that might've caused the car to get written off)
-Price is somewhat too good to be true
-Needs some history as to why it got written off
-Why wouldn't he try to sell on one of the forums (maybe dodging something)

Could well be from the hail, happened to mine last year. I will also say it would have had to be more than just the roof to get hail damaged for it to be a write off though. Insurance would have offered payout or for them to buy it for approx 2/3 of the figure. As khanuskhan suggested always want to err on the side of caution and get everything possible checked out and make sure its legit.

probably writeoff from hail
but to know for sure buy the 24$ thing from vicroads (some sort of VIP certificate thing) which will tell you if panel damage has been done or not
also judging from the number plates it has be re registered recently

also ive come across this in the past. If the vehicle has been re-registered, its possible that it hasnt been driven for a long time due to inactivity (major damage being repaired).
