DC5 Window Issues

Can anyone point me in the right direction with an issue with the power windows?

The 'AUTO' function for the driver's window stopped working randomly in the last day or so. The only thing I've done in the last few days was disconnect the battery (and reconnect it of course). The window still goes up and down.



Any ideas?

this happens on my ep3 sometimes aswell

while your window is fully closed pull the switch all the way up for a few secs and retry see how it goes

Yes. Open n close ur window.. But hold it up for a few secs n even wen it down - hold it down. Repeat 1-3 times.. Auto again

^^ what he said but HOLD IT DOWN till window goes down. HOLD IT UP till it goes up, repeat twice and this should solve ur problem

Worked perfectly. Wound window down and held the button down for a few seconds. Then wound the window up and held the button up for a few seconds.

AUTO function now works again.

happens to me all the time, but ive noticed which may be just a coincidence, it tends to happen when its colder. IE when i take my car out of the garage at 5am.
