I have recently purchased an injen intake for my car and the cars idling higher than usual. Wondering if you guys would know why thanks

Take off the intake and put your hand over the throttle body. If it turn off, then you need to adjust the idle screw or readjust TPS. If it doesnt turn off, then you have a vaccum leak somewhere

FICV's can also get 'jammed' on so to speak, so you retain fast idle all the time.. Check that next

Its an FITV(Fast idle thermal valve) not FICV and IIRC b18c7 dont have them.

Mines (F22A) an FICV.. So my bad.
Really? I would've thought Honda would've put them on everything

From what ive gathered they seem to have stopped using them on certain models somewhere in the mid to late 90's then switched to using the ECT sensor to bump the idle up for cold starts, not to sure what they are using these days.
