hey guys, had a problem with my gearbox this morning, now it seems to be stuck in 4th gear.... have found a replacement gearbox for around $2600 is this good or am i payin to much???

i wouldnt pay more than 2g. but thats me.
you can get second hand gbox from US for 2g landed.
6sp, oem lsd, 4.7fd.

EP3 gearbox is interchangeable with DC5R also. :)

EP3 gearbox is interchangeable with DC5R also. :)

funny that, ive rang so many wreckers and they think that the ep3 and dc5r gearbox are different simply coz one is for integra and the other is civic. why do thay not know what they are talkin about

Because half them are thinking about the EU civic not our EP3 civic by the sound of things.

I was told by dedy at top-one that a dc5r gearbox under $3k is fair a price. Brand new one cost $6500 to 6800.

change your clutch + release bearing + pilot bearing + rear oil main seals + machine your flywheel while you're at it. save you taking out the box later on if you do plan to keep the car for long..

Already done poeter, I got a stage 1 performance clutch the organic one, now she feels like a race car
