Hi Guys,

Was just in a 4 car pile up, lucky I was at the front(last car hit, I felt the bump).

When I went to inspect my rear bumper for damage the only thing that looked off was the tow bar cover had popped off a bit, nothig else seemed damaged.

I was able to drive home fine, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Should I get my car looked at to see if there is anything damaged?

I've got a 2010 Jazz thats done about 29000Ks, poor Jazz :( first accident.

Id get it properly checked out. Did you get all the other details of other cars ? you may need to claim on insurance etc

Yeh I got all the info just incase I needed to get anything fixed.

I think my next service is due soon (every 10,000ks?) might get it checked out then.

I would take it into a crash repairer for them to have a look.Even a small impact can cost thousands to repair back to original. My 8th gen accord had a small scrape down one side(2 doors) and small dent on the rear bumper, est cost $6K!!!!!!!

yeah, you need to take it to a smash repairer. a mechanic wont know what to look for.

I finally got time off to get my car serviced. Apparrently the rear windows don't go all the way down, part of the design  is this true? I've never noticed this before :o. Anyways the cars all good :D

in 95% of cars ever built, the rear windows dont go all the way down.

its because they physically cant, because the wheel arch is in the way

Thanks for clearing that up:thumbsup:, I was pretty embarrassed when the guy told me it was normal. I guess I should really get to know my car better.
