car giving a huge smoke coming from exhaust(its petrol i can tell by smelling it) and its white

Im not sure if its a distributor or piston not burning fuel problem..

question is can this be a problem in my dizzy because its been leaking since i got the car

or the piston as I warn up the car most of the time I use it..

Ive put new spark plugs (yes it starts and giving me a smell of petrol in exhaust)

then Ive tried removing the sparkplugs leads 1 by 1 did gives me different sound removing the 4 and 3 but when i remove the 2nd one..engine just died and didnt start :| after that..

does anyone encounter this problem, or any ideas to solve this problem
engine is a b16a2 in case someone ask.

Is it loosing coolant/water.
white smoke mean that the engine is burring water/coolant, which mean water is leaking somewhre. But head gasket is common problem.
Engine not starting because compassion is low.
Do a compression Test in all cylinders.

camshaft cover exhaust??! wut now?

do you mean the cam seal is leaking near the distributor?

im guessing he means that its on the exhaust side of the rocker cover.

so maybe its just a valve cover gasket kit thats needed? oil leaking from valve cover onto exhaust manifold = smoke?

Cam seal?

I've definitely seen oil piss out from where the valve cover gasket is, all over the headers and make massive amounts of smoke. But this doesn't just happen suddenly, we had to remove somebody's valve cover half way through a 300km cruise because his timing belt was half torn due to a cam gear nut that came loose. The valve cover wasn't put back on properly of course...

You are making no ssense.

Are you saying that it was the cam cover, on the exhaust side, towards the left of the engine, near the dizzy?

So what you should've said was "the cam seal for the exhaust cam"

Sent from my custard cannon like Peter North.
