I had an '88 that now belongs to my ex. My GF is picking up a '87 quite soon - I love this model of Accord, it seems to have everything and it has a sweet motor - as long as I remember that I'm not driving a B16A and it doesn't rev out to 8000rpm - oops :?

i drive an 94 accord VTIs. auto, and completely stock atm, except for the deck and front and rears.

I'm in syd, seeing Blade seems to be constantly asking if anyone's in syd.. :P

planning on some shocks and springs.. contemplating on some whiteline springs and shocks..

though australia's best only does king and koni's.

Yeh piecing it together myself, getting workshops to make the manifold/cooler piping/exhaust and also getting someone to fit n tune the ECU.

Its a 96, but basically the same.

So far parts are GT25, probably Haltech ECU, 550cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, malpassi fpr, exedy clutch, GFB bov and blitz boost controller...prolly a few gauges as well to keep an eye on things. All the piping will be custom.

VTIs: Koni yellows work bloody well, definitely go for them. I use Kmac springs and koni yellows

Well i probably have the oldest accord here, a 1983 Honda Accord 3dr. I know it doesn't even begin to compare with the rest of the Accords but it is my first car, and when i bought it i didnt have much of the green stuff so modding didnt enter my mind. I was really looking for at least a 90-94 but as i said i didnt have much money, and the Accords over here in WA are expensive.

Anyway, my car is pretty much standard except for the 15" Gold Rims. Im trying to find out if its possible to do anything with my car, mainly engine wise. It only has 1.6L in it which is very good on fuel, which suits me as i have no job atm, and even though it is suprsingly fast for a 1.6, i want to see if i can change it or do as much as possible to it. My grandparents have a 1984 Honda Accord Auto which is the year Honda introduced the 1.8L enigne and if they decide to get rid of it im gonna see if i can scrunge anything from it. Apart from that i have no plans.

So do you guys know if it is possible to do much to my car?

Oh i dont know if this is of any hlep or whatever but my dad worked as a service manager for Honda for about 8 years, so yeah.

Sorry bout the name, didnt realize someone had a similar one. Is their anyway i can change it, i tried in my profile but it doesn't seem to work.

Well im 17, im from WA and i just finished high school, well almost, one more exam on Tuesday and thats it. Not much else to know really, just a normal teenager really. And indeed Honda's are bitchin cars, always wanted one ever since my dad started working for them.

Ive convinced my dad to spend some money on my car, as i said before i have no income atm. So first off im getting my air conditioning fixed by one of my dads old mechanics, then im getting some ICE for my car, looking at a Pioneer head unit and some 6" speakers for the front. Really cant go all out with amps and 6x9"s as their is no shelf at the back and i want to keep access to my spare wheel. THen after that im getting a new exhaust, not sure what one but probably gonna get a dual tip instead of a big canon.

I might post this in the tech section aswell, so more people will read it.

i drive my old boys accord. its not mine but i practically own it since i drive it everywhere and paid for rego/insurance/fuel everything.
its a 94 vti stock accord. grey/silver colour.
the only "mods" i've done is clear out all the blinkers and removed the airbox resonator. the car also has a 'rorty' exhaust due to a hole in the muffler.

Hey bigdongers, yes, this is the one my dad ended up getting. No regrets. He's having a great time driving it all over the place. That 3.0 VTEC V6 is one smoooooth engine indeed, and the car is very very quiet with only a hint of a nice engine snarl when you rev it right up. One of these days I really wanna get all our Hondas in the family together for a photo shoot. Problem is logistally getting all of them together in one place at the same time!
