View Full Version : EK9 Steering Wheel problemo
Hey guys,
I just threw an EK9 wheel into my EK1, and nowwwwww.. when I indicate and turn the wheel, the indicators won't turn off haha.. I have to manually flick them off :wave: haha what have I broken?

Take it off again and you should see a white plastic thing. Also does the steering wheel sit well in there ?
maybe it was not fitted correctly and the small lever in the center that makes the indicator lever return to its normal position is not properly aligned
alright thanks i think i know what you're talking about. the stock ek1 wheel had it, but my ek9 wheel didnt have one.. i'll pull it apart and look at it again tomrrow. thanks

Got this ? The clock spring for a EK9. Its required to have horn/SRS etc.

Also refer to this image of a EK9/EK4 indicator unit - note the AXE shaped disc around the hub. do you have this ? It is a indicator cancellor - as you turn the wheel it catches and releases the indicator as you correct the wheel (complete a turn)
