Personally I'm a massive fan of 5Zigen and would pick them since I've had good experience with their products, however I have heard great things about the RMF. Have read crappy things about T1R, would avoid them personally.

I've go with whatever's cheaper if I were you.

No idea about the RMF but i had the 5zigen headers on my b16 ages ago and were awesome, considering the price i payed. were like 800 new or something, if i remember right. Good quality with good sound

I vote RMF, mostly because I have one and so does my mate on his DC2 vtir. He had the 5Zigen header,

his comment on RMF was it looks much better, a much harder pull from 5500RPM+, sounds raw on vtec compared to 5zigen, and price wise its cheaper than 5zigen.

Quality wise I'm not complaining, no cracks no leaks. Theres also threads on teamintegra comparing different headers with RMF, RMF was voted the best bang for buck header and still is, TODA even reccomended it for its price.

I searched the header I needed for a very long time, and I chose the RMF which in the end made me happy.

Good luck

I didn't feel any loss in power low - mid range, I also didn't feel any increase either below 4500 RPM, but after that your pulling lots of power.

Heres this header vs other branded headers

And here is the RMF header again winning the best header for money in the US

As for clearance, 5zigen is better, but RMF isn't bad. It has way better clearance compared to those replica tri-y lol

I can ask my friend to look for a good JDM header if you want. He has a great contact in Japan, gets loads of new/used quality parts.

Any reasons for just those 2x header brands.
there is others too u know i guess the question should be also what is your budget?

From the right Hytech replica, SMSP, RMF and TODA.

Snoop, do you mean from the left? Looks like the TODA is on the far right.

Very interesting picture, the one on the far left looks like it has the worst clearance quite comfortably! They all look freaking gorgeous though LOL

Yeah TRI-y has the worst of clearance, espically on a EK its just bullshit lol, lenz on this forum had his TRI-y for the first day and dented it super bad

the Tri-Y looks as if it was designed for the B16B or B18CR long blocks lol

I have a 5Zigen on my B16 and it sounds great, great gains, and the best thing is - it doesn't hang low as other headers.

It hugs the b16 and ground clearance is awesome. picked it up for $500 a while back. I recommend it anyday.

If you can afford it skunk2 megapower is another good option
I've got them on my bog stock b16 and there awesome
Build quality is excellent and super shiny new
Clearance is awesome too hugs the oil pan really well even on b16
You really need a good exhaust to compliment any good header though
I've got 2.5" mandrel stainless and new intake manifold 68mm throttle body and cai and the improvement over stock is well worth it
