Engine maintanence advice

Hey guys my car just got complied and the compliance guy did a engine oil and filter change filter is OEM I dont know what oil he used.
I want to put some motul 5w30 in myself now though.
My question is; is it worth changing the oil filter as it is brand new anyway and it is the one I was going to buy anyway or should I just drain the oil?

if you have money spare to be thrown away, why not :p feel very satisfy after doing it and a little bit regret but.

I don't want to be jumping to conclusions but in general compliance workshops rarely do services during the process. so your better off doing a full service for a piece of mind.

The filter was 100% changed as mentioned in the initial post.
