As the title says, my car is running very rich. I'm just wondering how to make it abit more lean. I read up that rich is alot safer than lean, so i don't want to get it to that point.

thanks in advance.

More details needed mate. What car, how many kms, how do you know it's rich?

Change the oxygen sensor.

reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect

i doubt the tacho is that accurate, how many kms do you get out of a full tank?
What fuel do you use?
Also what driving style? Granny or vtec once in a while
Any engine light problems?

Yup,02 sensor I reckon too.

All maintenance things will help.Tappets, upper engine cleaner etc

Reset ecu,like said above too

Just gotta keep doing that, working with ya car

Honda's notoriously run a bit rich..its the stock ecu

But they are learning ecu's,so just keep doing the above and it will improve.

OR

Swap ecu's and dyno tune.

Then U end up doing all maintenance things anyways.

It's all money :)

A tacho is for revs. I'm going to assume you've got an a/f ratio gauge.

This might be reading incorrect also.

lol tacho that reads a/f ratio - now thats a good one

im with Trism on this - not many ppl install a/f guages properly

- get a professional to check gauge install
- replace o2 sensor
- reset ecu
- get injectors serviced
- run batch of nulon fuel system cleaner + 98oct fuel
- profit...??
