Question about the car bonet

hey ozhondians, my euro's bonet is all of a sudden making a knocking noise..the noise is coming from where the hook or latch holds the bonet down at the front. I've tried greasing it up but it keeps making the noise. Now your probably thinking its my engine, but its not, cause everytime i push down on the bonet or apply pressure to it the noise goes away.

Did anyone have this problem? or does anyone know how fix to this?

The car is under warranty FFS.. take it to the dealer.

dude, is it properly locked? i mean you close it by a 30cm drop or a light slam.

Open the bonnet, lift it up about 30cm.

let go/Slam it down.

Then see if the sound remails

did your front end use to have an accident? sometime the panel beaters forget to adjust the bonnet. there are two round black rubbers on each side just above the head lights try turning the black rubber to bring the bonnet up, they use these rubbers to make your bonnet flush with your guards when close, this may stop the noise

hey Mr.DC2 thanks for that i was actually playing with that rubber bit the other day lol i didnt know what that was for...but that fixed it thanks for that :D. Adrian 128 my car is way out of warranty so that wasnt an option.
