hi guys,

I bought an engine stand from super cheap auto..which is the brand SCA.

I wanted to bolt the D16 motor to it, but the Gearbox bolt to the Motor is not long enough to screw through from one side to the motor.

I been looking for longer screws than the normal bolt with the same size, but super cheap, repco, autobarn and bunnings dont have a longer bolt the size i am after would be M12x1.25 100mm,

because the standard gearbox bolt to the motor is M12x1.25 75mm

can anyone help me, or you guys found a different way to put the motor to the engine stand.

let me know guys

cheers:)

are you talking about the bolt that is bolted through the block into the transmission?
so there is just a hole in that part of the block, its not threaded?

just go to bunnings and get a galvanised roof truss bolt. they come in longer lengths and are cheap as shit. like a few dollars

Or wreckers for some large Honda suspension bolts
Like the large long bolt for the front shock fork

im pretty sure sussy bolts arent big enough for tranny hole.
analogy: my asian penis + sasha grey's a-hole.
