1. Is it worth buying an engine swap book?
2. Would they be relevant to Australian Hondas?
3. This is the only one I can find. (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Honda-Engine-Swap-Civic-Accord-Integra-Prelude-New-Book-/260828301738?pt=Non_Fiction&hash=item3cba9409aa) Has anyone used this and was it helpful?
4. Will it/another one contain enough information for a D16Y4 to B18 swap?
5. Off topic question, but what is the resale value of a D16Y4 with 140,000 k's?

Any help is much appreciated.

I got that one, it's rubbish.
I'll sell it $10 + shipping lol.

Google has MUCH MUCH more information than that lousy book.

engine swap books

1. Is it worth buying an engine swap book? No
2. Would they be relevant to Australian Hondas? Somewhat
3. This is the only one I can find. Has anyone used this and was it helpful? These types of books give you general info, not the detailed info you may be looking for if you need step-by-step instructions
4. Will it/another one contain enough information for a D16Y4 to B18 swap? As above. Swap books typically have general info, not specific engine to engine swap instructions
5. Off topic question, but what is the resale value of a D16Y4 with 140,000 k's? maybe a few hundred, they aren't a very sought after motor

ok thanks. just seems like the information that I get from searches is very fragmented. would love the organisation of a book, or to see a comprehensive thread where a d16 is swapped for a b18. i've only done fairly small things to engines like testing thermostat, changing water pump, changing oil, changing timing belt. i'd love to do an engine swap myself but it seems like it could become a nightmare without a clear, organised, detailed guide.

I agree. You could probably find a PDF version of that floating around somewhere + more info. Also engine swapping help can be quite easily sourced from the forums

Am I doing searches wrong? I'll type in something like "D16 to B18 engine swap" and will get a bunch of threads that have these words in them but are not about that topic. The title will be completely different.

i would search with these keywords on google.
-engine swap ek b18c
-how to ek b18c swap
-ek b18c parts list

Thanks man but markismaximus already sent me it!
