ep3r handbrake cable

Hi guys, im just wondering if the dc5r handbrake cable is the same as ep3r? (have this handbrake problem in my ep3r, it wont hold at all, got new rear pads, adjusted the handbrake from the centre console,(tightest) still wont work) anyone can shed a light? thanks

maybe the handbrake mechanism on the rear caliper is sized, get someone to pull up the handbrake while you watch to see if the handbrake lever on the rear caliper moves.

If the handbrake itself is adjusted almost to it's max and still won't fully rip up the rear - then most likely the cables themselves have stretched.
Any thoughts on this ? Does anyone know if the ep3 lines are compatible with any other model such as dc5/rsx etc ?
