JDM DC5R LCA with Buddy club AUDM ball joint?

Hi, I have ordered a pair of jdm LCA for my audm dc5r. Just wondering can I keep using the buddy club dc5 ball joint? Thank you.

I don't believe so but I have never tried it myself, the taper on the Australian (and Buddy Club) lower ball joints is smaller than the JDM model. So the ball joint won't fit up correctly. King Motorsports in the US make a press in sleeve just for this purpose so you can use the smaller taper ball joint with the JDM LCA.

You should probably do a search on ClubRSX, but I don't think that will work either. I have read that the hole in the knuckle for the lower ball joint is smaller on the Australian knuckles (for both the 02-04 Type R and 05-06 Type S) and the JDM sized lower ball joint won't press in. I haven't seen this first hand though.
