EG help NEEDED

hi guys,

i just bought an EG4 about a month ago from car city Ringwood.
its running with a carby system so it is a bit old.
Now it has broken down due to the head gasket has blown out, exhaust is blowing out white smoke and sound worst than a lawn mower.
so i pretty much need to rebuild the engine.
is there anyone who had this problem before and could give me some advice?
i dont need to fit a vtec or whatsoever, just need an engine that works well.
where would i be able to find an engine that fits? wreckers? and how much will i be looking at?
the engine is D15Z1.

Check the For Sale section here. Wrecker might be an option, try Hondwreck (spelling?) on Clayton Road I think. But you might get ripped by a wrecker.

I'd go shopping here. Just find pretty much any D-series engine that came in the EG.

U waste urs money to rebult the engine, you should able get the engine for the wrecker for around or less $200.
