ek grill

hey guys. so me and a mate attempted to do a diy front grill today on my ek. thing is, it seemed to me that the grill was one piece so there was no proper way of getting the mesh in between the first and second pieces as stated in the diy:

Is it because its a 96 model, or did i not look hard enough?

Did you cut out the centre plastic parts as it said in the DIY? or did I miss something?

yeah i did. nevermind tho, got it to stick with the help of some hot glue.
