My old car is driping water at the bottom tank near the main hose area.

Most probably either a splitting radiator hose or the bottom tank is cracking. Get it checked out ASAP before you blow coolant and fry a headgasket :0

Best thing is to get it checked out by someone who knows what hes/shes doing. You can mess around with that sealant stuff you put in with you coolant, but I seriously would not bother. :D

I just took the radiator out and wack some water proof putty and silicon on it lol. :D
There is small cracks at the bottom tank around the hose area, The tank seem to be repaired around that area before. I guess they didn't do a good welding job on it last time.

Think he meant S2000. Theres no prob replacing the bottom tank. As long as its done by a radiator specialist. Thats taking they are the same construction as my car, which I would have thought so. :D

REPLACE IT!!! There is no need to risk anything going wrong. If you leak to much water sometimes the temp sensor reads the air temp and you have no warning that there is no water circulating and the motor over heats. If its a matter of money, stop driving it and save but it is certainly not worth the risk of stuffing the motor etc.
