EG Hatch and Sedan bonnet Difference?

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between a EG hatch and sedans bonnet? I just got a sedan and noticed the bonnet sticks over the bumper by 1inch, I am wondering if it is a hatch bonnet that the old owner put on.

they are different.
if its on a sedan and the bonnet hangs over the front, it was meant for a htach.
it still closes properly though so you wont have to worry about it flying up and smashing the windscreen.
