Hi Guys,
I'm still currently looking for an EP3R, currently got my eye set on one.
Although it has aftermarket exhaust on it, hitech headers, magnaflow cat and magnaflow catback with cannon muffler. it is rediculously loud for me as I test drove it today.
The salesperson have kindly told me he can change it to stock catback and leaving the aftermarket cat and headers in if I want a bit of quietness.
I don't know much about these cars, but my concern is if there will be any issues just changing the header and cat on a ep3? will there be any flow problem due to piping size?
any advice would be deeply appreciated. Thank you~

Wouldn't be a problem at all in regards to piping size,if you only have the catback replaced to stock it will be alot quiet but with the extra growl if you give it some
I ran aftermarket header & cat with stock catback when i first got my car it still goes hard :)

stock exhaust would be more restrictive than the aftermarket one put on (most likely)
should not have any problems. and if u wana upgrade ur exhaust later on so its not so restrictive get a mugen twinloop also its not that loud!

Hmm...did you test drive the white ep3 at Xtrememotorsports? If you did, better pm me about it. Might've been my car. =P

Yeah it might have been flubbars car. His car is really smooth and the gearbox felt pretty good. Gears were easy to find and get into.
P.s Exhaust used to be heaps louder. It can set off car alarms on the street before.
