Hey wodering what every one is running for tack days and drags
I want to swap my 18s off for something lightweight for drags n sht, if can get some advice, sites prices and so on...........

rememeber its not the weight saving that is a benefit (that isnt noticeable within the same size) but its the widths and offsets that can be a bonus to your cars handling - both in tracking and also tyre selection.

As above , start with JDMYARD and go from there. PLEASE avoid copy rims like rota etc.

On my ED I have run R888s (205/50/R15) on a 15x6.5 rim with zero scrubbing. Low but not stupid low.

Its also not so much what will fit but how much your speedo will be out. You need to keep within 3% overall diameter of your placard tyre size on the vehicle.

A good place to start if you want to get serious with drags try 9" with 235 tyres. If you wanna be a man and do some corners, go for 8" with 205 tyres.

you just need the almighty regas in 15x6.5 or 7
one of the lightest wheels that would be best suited for your car
