ek civics abs as standard or extra option?

just a quick question.

Does anybody know if ABS was offered in ek civics (all body types) as standard or as a extra

It didnt come standard, mine has no abs and it was stock when i got it

I do believe some EK1 did infact come with it.... I know some 4 doors came with it from the factory and some didnt...

EJ8, EK4 and EM1 are all factory fitted abs afaik

my '00 EK1 CXI came with ABS from factory, may have been an option but i'm not sure, it may even depend on the year model, we all know how car companys enjoy updating their safety features! so my guess is that 99-00 CXI's came with abs, and 96-98 came with it optional

I highly doubt that CXI came with ABS as standard, on GLI and CXI it would have been an option.

I dont know about the VTI though.

you would need all the lines + ABS module + wiring/sensors + drive shafts + rear trailing arms.

It would also be very time consuming. not worth it imo.
