Hi guys,

What are other tires which compete against the R888?
And if you know cost and grip compared to the R888?

Thanks

ive driven on both a048s and r888s and ive found that they both provide similar levels of grip on the track.
The r888s are much cheaper and probably more durable. Taleb tyres sells them pretty cheap as well.

NTO1, RA1, but they are basically the same thing. There aren't a lot of tyres with around 100 treadwear like the R888; Dunlop D03G, Advan A050, Bridgestone RE11S and RE55S etc. are all softer tyres based on their treadwear and tend to be more expensive. If you want more grip just get Hoosier R6 or another similar slick style DOT tyre.

R888 can be bought in different compounds much like the D03g Ao50 R355, so i guess like charger said if u are looking for just pure grip for the track go for the R6 slicks.
