B16a2 ek4 into eg VTI

heys guys was just wondering is it possible to use the power steering,air con hoses off the ek to the eg basically im saying can i swap the whole engine and stuff from the ek4 into my eg keeping my aircon and power steering and all that and what about the engine mounts from the ek would it fit on me eg aswell?

or is there anything i can just straight swap with out any mods

haha i wouldve post my engine on for sale for ozhonda but not a member yet so just gave it away to my mate but yeah any one could help me on this please=[ i really wanna keep my power steering and air con my missus drive this car aswell=[

For the aircon you can use ur already existing compressor and lines on your vti but you need different compressor bracket to mount d series compressor into your b16 .. For your p/s you'll need your b16 pump cus its not the same as d series pump..

Once I can find a b16 halfcut I'll be offloading my dseries

You need to change engine wiring loom (ITR), rear engine mount bracket (DC2), OBD1 B16a ECU (P30) OR run a conversion harness (obd1 > obd2a).

So eg vti is obd1 and b16 is obd2. Which is the easiest b16a to put in? And due to the vti having VTEC already I have to wire in a knock sensor correct?

there are OBD-0, OBD-1 and OBD-2 versions of the B16

the EK4/EM1 B16 is the B16a2 which is OBD-2

but the Del Sol B16a is OBD-1 which makes it an easier swap candidate for an EG hatch
