2003 usdm nav system

as the title states the accords in the states run the same dash and same looking stereo as the cl9's here has anyone tryed to fit a usdm stereo into one in aus b4? i dont really care if the nav works just want to be able to watch dvd's and stuff.. also has anyone tryed the ebay set up's (full replacement dvd,nav blah blah)

EBay ones are crappy Honda accord tl is the same looking system I'm going to buy a 2005 one however the aircon will be on opposite sides due to the drivers side being different
