Just my Luck, recently the car started to develop a faint/mild thumping/drumming noise sometimes at idle.

Initially I thought it's the pulley belt on it's way out, I was happy cause I'm thinking about chucking in a set of lightweight pulleys, alas, that's not the case. I've just found out today, if your auto is put in neutral, the noise goes away. Put it back in gear and it starts again.:thumbdwn:

much like what this guy's experiencing:

some say it's a worn motor mount, I cant confirm it tho.

Any ideas folks?

I had since changed the drive belt and tranny fluid.

It's no longer there.

which oil are you using?

Its pretty well documented on acurazine as well , those guys seems to have their fair share of problems but actually acura looks after them not like honda

Yes, I mean every time I did ask for simple things to be fixed they always come with " normal operation and same like car in workshop" acura USA fixes a lot of issues even with modified cars.

Last time Honda told me vibration on idle is due to my tein ss coilovers lol.

Little things like that, BTW I might try d4 on my next fluid change :)

So I just fixed these issues myself instead of taking it back, as they rarely help
