hey guys,
does anyone know the ground clearance of the CL9? according to drive.com.au the ground clearance is 120mm, can someone verify this?
and is it true the the lowest legal limit is 100mm from the lowest point of the car?
according to this info this means the most you can lower a CL9 legally will be only a 20mm drop? I find that hard to believe as the car looks like it sits fairly high!
I measured the space from the top of my tyre to the start of the guard and its 70mm! that's huge!

That's my understanding of it but it seems to vary slightly from state to state.Mine's dropped approx.35mm!!!

^I just did a quick google, and there are several sites as well as the actual CL9 brochure that says laden ground clearance if only 120mm?!
The new CU2 has 150mm clearance. Can someone confirm? But Honda cant be wrong though...

maybe its because the chassis rails and exhaust hang lower than the body of the car

lol...all we needed was a dictionary - well i did anyways.
The 120mm ground clearance was measured when the car was "laden" .....aka FULLY LOADED!! I thought laden meant the opposite, thus the confusion lol
So ground clearance normally when unloaded/unladen (if there is such a word), would be closer to 140-150mm stock.
