hi guys,

What is it you actually want to know?

That could be a D16Y1 engine, which came in the Civic VTi. No sunroof, so its not a VTi. As suggested, check the VIN. It will tell you what EG variant it is.

And, yes, that's also not a B16A. Who says it should be, the seller?

And, what is a Civic VTi[R]?

It is an import so it will have a import vin number, Do you know whats written on that blue plate on the radiator support?? That plate will tell you what model it is example: EG6 , EG5 etc

ok that makes sense because the vin number its not JDMxxxxxxxetc its 6t9repv97s101x05 <-- can that be decoded?
being imported from Europe will this have issues with getting replacing parts? Or the only difference is the engine?

6t9repv97s101x05 would be the VIN if its a personal import, should be a yellow compliance plate as well if im not mistaken
