dc2r srs momo on eg .. airbag question

Soo.. DC2R SRS MOMO conversion on EG with SRS steering wheel.

Can anybody confirm whether the airbag is still operational or not.

I've done some looking around on here and on other sites and some say yes and some say no.

Cos if it doesn't work then i might as well get a Nardi or Personal wheel instead.

Yeah i thought i could use it on mine but nope! can't even get the horn to work..Any way it can work though? rewiring of any sort?

then you have to use an SRS ECU designed and crash tested for DC2 Chassis, what happen when you crash your EG chassis with DC2 SRS, does it deploy at the correct time and save your life, or rip your head off ?

ahh good point. so besides looking nicer, there's no point in changing it to dc2r srs.

For the same price i can get a personal wheel then.. and yes i know it's illegal to change it but the stock wheel is toooo big.
