Hey,
Just went into the local honda dealership wanting a quote on an 89 DA9 integra fuel pump. The salesman told me approx $1000, because they are getting old and hard to get parts for! Is this accurate or not? Also, who out there uses an aftermarket fuel pump, what type and how easy to fit to the car?

I ended up getting a Walbro pump. Next question is do I have to drop the tank out to put it in?

just remove the bottom of rear seat and you can see the fuel pump cover, remove it then you can change everything that you need..

Unfortunately the DA9 pump is a bit harder to change than the DC, EG etc...
You will have to drop the tank to access the cover for the pump.
