where do you think the most level and best part of the car to install the g sensor would be?
i was thinking under the centre console cover bit, near the hand break.

the sensor or the display unit ? Id want the display unit in your peripheral field of vision - not head on but slightly to the side. Say aside your HU etc.

And the Sensor itself - ideally it would be exactly centred in the car to get the most accurate reading.
Id try to mount it inside the handbrake console somehow...

well at the moment the display is directly in front of me but i am thinking of moving it in the centre of the car somewhere.
ill have a look near the hand break to see if there is a good spot

definite in the centre near the handbrake, u want the most central place, to get the most accurate reading

i just took it for a drive. i ended up putting it in front of the gear stick below the front face of the HU only because it was a nice flat surface which was easy to get at.
i might figure it out better to find the exact central part of the car and mount it there but for now it was a quick and easy install.
works great! heaps of fun to play with!
