tps fixed now still not reving properly.

hey guys.

recently my tps broke. so i had to replace it.

i bought brand new one from benson. not oem.

i put everything back to the way it was. all plugs re connected.

with new tps. car drives but stops at 4000 revs.
and has engine light up.

what could be the problem?

its an ek with k24. kpro ecu. ? anything i can try to fix myself?

Did you reset the ecu after you replaced the tps? Did you calibrate the TPS(or kpro reading) when you put it on? By engine light i assume you mean the CEL (Check Engine Light), Check what code its showing?

i didnt know you had to reset ecu. or check kpro reading.

i will just take to 101 in coming days.

Well id assume you got a CEL when your TPS broke so you would of needed to reset the ecu to clear the code once you replaced the sensor otherwise the ecu may still think you have a faulty TPS. The Tps reading on K series needs to be 0.48-0.49V closed throttle and 4.5v WOT IIRC but since your running a kpro the TPS reading can adjusted via that if you prefer.
