Mobile Speed Camera Locations in Brisbane Area

I want to start this thread so members can add the areas in Brisbane where police like to put mobile speed cameras.

I'm not doing this to condone speeding, but to keep us knowledgable as to where they are so we don't crash while looking at our speedo or get done doing 62km/h n a 60 zone or something similar.

Here's a start:

1. Sir Fred Schonnel Dr St Lucia (2 spots)

2. Centenary Highway approaching the Toowong/Mt Cootha Roundabout.

Old Cleveland Rd near the Boundary Rd/Wiles St intersetion

Blunder Rd, Durack. There is usually a speed van there at least once a week. It's a bit dodgy coz usually its either parked midway or at the bottom of a the hill there.

Ipswich rd, morrooka. Unmarked van parked behind a tree as your going past salters dealership

also if you ever use Carmody road to avoid traffic, sometimes they stand there with a gun on top of the hill

Bruce Highway between Murrumba Downs exit and Nerangba..

ICB near RBWH exit on little service ramp

Logan road near the corner of buranda st where Southside Honda is.

Compton rd they park a van on the island in the middle of the road between the sunnybank hills plaza and Mcdonalds, also on Compton road further south across from the Mormon Church/entertainment centre they usually have RBT set up at night and sometimes cars parked behind truck cargo during the day.

Creek road headed over the blind hill with a McDonalds and stuff nearby. Kingston rd heading towards Beenliegh near the supercheap auto store 4x4 parked across from park during the day.

And you would be suprised how many are in the CBD on the 40km/h streets.

Can anyone tell me if they ever put a mobile speed camera on Centenary Highway at Darra inbound between where you enter from the ipswich motorway and the sumners road exit.
