Hey guys,
My teg is lowered 2" front 2 1/4" at the rear and with my body kit on it I'm finding that its just too low and i cant get anywhere like this. Scraping too much! Has anyone actually had their springs reset before? Just curious to know how much it is or would it cost me about the same as getting new springs? Anywhere in Sydney btw.
Thanks

I had my springs on my Pulsar reset lower than factory, cost me $100 for the set of 4 at Universal Springs at Raby. Not sure if the process is any different for re-setting higher at all though. The price was for me to remove the springs from the car and supply to them for the job. Might be an extra $50 to buy some new springs which might be worth it unless you're happy with the ride quality you have now.
just get a set of new kings springs or sth ...

I have king lows on my prleude but im not happy with the ride the guard clearnance. It is too damn high!!. Would I bebale to get my springs reset to lower the ride height?? What does this involve?? I would imagine it involves compressing the springs and bolting the tops of the struts on tight so the springs stay that way??

Just buy new springs for you own needs. Lows, or super lows. Ring around, you'll find its not that expensive. :D
Super Cheap sells King springs at probably the cheapest price. The just get a mechanic to fit them.

just buy some makita springs, they cost about 35$ from any shop that sells anglegrinders.

I dont think you can get springs re-set to a higher setting, but you can to a lower setting which is not a good idea in its self anyway. The best thing to do would simply be to decide what height you want it to be and get a new set of springs to suit your desicion.
This is the easiest and most likely cheapest way of fixing the problem.

Springs can be reset lower or higher and spring rates changed to your requirements, Just ask KMAC or Jumbos on prices, roughly $120 for 4.

resetting springs cost $44 a pair at allsprings in moorebank, i heard there is risk of spring failure when resetting springs but apparently the risk is only high when u get the springs reset higher...thats what allsprings told me
when i got my springs the back of my car wasnt as low as i would have liked it, i got them reset (just the rear) another 3/4 inch lower (from 3.5inches to 4.25inches), its been bout 5 months and no problems so far....all springs give warranty on reset springs as long as its thier springs (JUMBOZ)
btw, my car aint that bouncy, a few OH members have ridden in my car and can back me up on this fact
